Supporting vulnerable children aged 2–5 through early education, daily nutrition, and the joy of play.
Grace Daycare was founded on January 7th, 2024 to give vulnerable children aged 2–5 a safe, structured, and loving place to grow.
To provide early education, daily nutrition, and social development for underprivileged children in Arusha.
A community where every child, regardless of background, has the foundation to thrive.
Grace Daycare embraces every child — including those with special needs — through a fully inclusive learning environment.
A small, dedicated team united by one purpose — the wellbeing and growth of every child.
My name is Rose Chrispin. My journey with children began long before Grace Daycare. At the age of 22, I started volunteering as a teacher in orphanages and inclusive children's centres — not because it was required of me, but because I believed, and still believe, that teaching is both a talent and a calling.
I went on to complete my advanced education and graduated with a degree in Secondary Education from Tumaini University, Tanzania. I was subsequently employed as a secondary school teacher by the Government of Tanzania. Teaching is my profession — but it is also my purpose.
Over the years, I witnessed firsthand the consequences of poor early childhood education on a child's long-term development. I became convinced that the root of the problem lay in the very beginning — in the youngest years, when foundations are formed. That conviction led me to establish Grace Daycare in January 2024: a place of care, love, and early education for children from low-income families in Arusha. My belief is simple — invest in a child at two years old, and you change their trajectory for life.
Grace Daycare runs with the support of a small, dedicated team. I personally contribute part of my own salary to keep it going. Every child here matters — and we will not stop.
I am 37 years old, a mother of three, and a Tanzanian born and raised in the Arusha region.
